UPDATE #3

Greetings everyone! We have some very exciting updates:

Discord 

The discord is currently under maintenance and we will keep you updated. We have been implementing a lot of quality of life improvements we think will help everyone in the long term. We are expecting to begin populating it in mid October. You can expect an invitation via email when the time comes. Thank you for your patience on this!

Booth Numbers

We are currently working with Modern to finalize our exhibitor hall layout. While it’s not quite ready to share, a couple people have requested their number in order to purchase power or other services from Modern. I’ve been told by Modern that if you call in, they can complete your order and add the booth number later. Our goal is to have the layout complete and all booth numbers assigned by late October!

Convention Game

As in years past, we are planning a convention-wide game designed to encourage attendees to collaborate with one another and engage with the many offerings throughout the convention, especially our exhibitor hall.

We are once again giving exhibitors the opportunity to participate directly in the convention game through a $150 sponsorship. Building on previous years’ feedback, we believe this year’s package will be our strongest exhibitor-focused opportunity yet.

This year’s game is themed after Brandon’s most recent release, The Fires of December, and centers around attendees locating “demons” throughout the convention. 

For the exhibitor portion of the game, we will hide images of demons at sponsored booths. Attendees will need to find each demon and write down the name of its corresponding booth in their “Exhibitor Field Guide” (see below). Attendees will have to actively identify and record your booth’s name, helping reinforce who they visited and making the interaction more memorable. We also believe this format will give you more freedom to engage with attendees throughout the convention, as no stamping will be necessary this year.

Note: All exhibitor sponsors will also be listed first on our webpage, under the “featured” section. We have limited slots available, so if you’re interested in participating, we encourage you to act quickly. Once we receive payment for the sponsorship, we’ll send you a short form where you can select your top three demon choices for your booth. Depending on interest, each demon may be assigned to multiple exhibitors (no more than 2-3), and we’ll do our best to accommodate preferences based on availability.

UPDATE #2

Greetings!

Nexus is 3 months away! We are sure all of you are hard at work prepping for the event, and we haven’t been slacking off either. Below are a couple updates about some of the exciting new additions to Nexus 2026.

Modern 

Our friends at Modern have finished preparing their packet! This includes how to order their services and our Exhibitor Hall hours! Use this to help power your booth, ship in your merchandise and anything else you may need. Find their information here.

Dragonsteel Nexus Art Gallery

In addition to the other new things coming this year, we are going to have an art gallery! Beginner, amateur, and professional works of art will be on display throughout the event. So, if you’re an artist—or know an artist who would love to have their fantasy-themed art on display during Dragonsteel Nexus—please submit here. We can’t wait to see what you all come up with!

Please read the Terms and Conditions for art submissions before filling out the form. A Nexus badge is not required to submit. Submissions will close October 18th at 11:59PM MDT. Our amazing Creative team will then select pieces to be featured in the gallery, and selected artists will be notified in early November.

Nexus by Night

Planning for Nexus by Night continues, and we are throwing in our best after party ingredients to close out the event. For three days, your enthusiasm and investiture churn together, and between the good vibes and fond memories, something is born in the Cognitive Realm: a reflection of DSNX that we all bring to life for one night only. There are still tickets available, so come wrap up Nexus with us! The hall will close earlier on Saturday, so exhibitors will be available to attend!

UPDATE #1

Hello!

We are so excited to announce that we have filled a majority of our exhibitor hall! I cannot say it enough, thank you for coming to Nexus. Every year we get to welcome so many talented authors, artists, and vendors. We, alongside our attendees, truly appreciate the quality of your works. 

To update you all, Modern Expo should be sending out an exhibitor packet soon that will contain information about power, product shipping, schedule, etc.. We here at Dragonsteel are preparing our own packet that will contain information on our copyright policy, events schedule, and more!

You should also now have access to assign your exhibitor badges by following the management page found within your exhibitor update email. You can assign these under the “Credentials” tab. Badges this year will be picked up in person on-site and won’t have names printed on them, so feel free to assign the badges however you like. The confirmation email you will receive after assigning badges will include a link to the Add-On page, where you can purchase the Book Bundle and tickets to Nexus by Night. 

If you are interested in additional badges, you will need to assign all existing badges on your account first. When that has been done, the system will give you an option to purchase more.
