UPDATE #1

Hello!

My name is Jakob DeLlamas, and I’m the Convention Operations Specialist. Working with me is Gwen Hickman. Together we are the Operations team for Nexus this year! We’ve been tasked with onboarding the Squires and keeping you up to date with Nexus. Many of you probably recognize Gwen as the ever helpful leader of the Gwenfo Booth, and I’ve been assisting with the Sentinels for the past couple of years.

We are so excited to see you in December! This convention is the culmination of so much work and passion, and it wouldn’t be possible without you. Thank you for your willingness to help and support the event—you truly make Nexus a better place. 

We have a lot of updates for you, but I will endeavor to make this short. 

• When can I access my Badge?

You will receive an email with your badge access once you finish onboarding with Next Gen. Our goal is to send the first batch to those who have completed this process early August. 

• How do I get add-ons?

Your badge confirmation page will include a link to purchasing add-ons, including Nexus by Night tickets and the Fires of December Book Bundle. These products are limited, so be sure to get them quickly once you have your badge. If any add-ons have sold out before you have finished onboarding we are unable to add inventory. 

• Can I work as a Squire at Nexus by Night? 

There will be opportunities to work the event, but they will be limited. If you want to ensure you are able to attend the event, buying a ticket is the best way to go. Tickets are fully refundable until November 1st.

• When can I join the Discord?

The discord is currently under maintenance and we will keep you updated. Gwen has been implementing a lot of quality of life improvements we think will help everyone in the long term. Thank you for your patience on this!
